Join AGU’s Heads and Chairs. Since 1997, this forum has discussed important issues common to geophysical science departments. It also holds annual workshops immediately prior to the AGU Fall Meeting and offers webinars throughout the year.
Sign up for AGU’s Education Special Interest Group. ESIG is open to all AGU members who are interested in issues dealing with K-12, undergraduate, and graduate education as well as STEM education and outreach.
Submit a session proposal on education to AGU’s Fall Meeting. These sessions provide an excellent opportunity to discuss mentoring, internships, fostering diversity, focusing on research, and other educational strategies.
Join or partner with other organizations dedicated to STEM education. Groups like the National Association of Geoscience Teachers (NAGT) and initiatives like Teach the Earth also provide opportunities for you to be involved in improving geoscience education.
